Hi, I’m Alex

I am passionate about human connection, online and in real life. I channel all the positive energy I have into creating as many special moments and connections as possible. My professional life is a three-layer cake: I manage incredibly creative and rich communities, put on unforgettable events, and make an occasional documentary film (or 12) about the incredible stories I come across. I also love to write, and have a PhD in Russian literature—specifically, prison slang. Oddly, that last one has come in handy in a variety of ways.
